On November 22nd we entered into the Holy Fire of Sagittarius, the Sacred Flame of Life and Creation and an expansive Solar Portal ruled by Jupiter. Today, on the 23rd of November, we enter the New Lunar Cycle of Sagittarius. We awaken our inner Holy Fire after swimming in the deep waters of Scorpio to find our truth.
In ancient times, Sagittarius was represented by the centaur, and over time, this symbol changed to the archer. The archer represents the call of the soul. With this calling we begin to see that there exists something beyond the physical, and personal ambition is transformed into spiritual aspiration.
In Biblical - Gnostic Astrology Sagittarius shows us the dual nature of Yeshua. He is human and is divine. Sagittarius, the Centaur is half human and half horse. The horse in Scripture represents power and divinity. Sagittarius also gives us the teachings on how to perceive duality and that we are as Yeshua, Human and Divine. Our aim, just as the archer aims, is to recognize our Divine Nature and aspire to receive true wisdom.
In the Bible, the 12 sons of Jacob that developed into the original ancient 12 Hebrew tribes were each assigned a Zodiac sign to represent their family house. They were the earthly manifestation of the Zodiac houses, also called mansions in the heavens. The will of Alaha (Divine Mother - Father) was being performed on earth through the tribes, as it was reflected in the heavens through the constellations. Sagittarius, the Archer, was assigned to the tribe of Asher. Asher means happy, fortunate and blessed. In this season we experience the joy of Creation and we have the ability to manifest all things divine through us. We have journeyed through the Floods of Scorpio, have dived deep into the darkness and the Holy Fire has been lit.
This fire transforms and purifies. This fire represents our potential to synthesise and meld ourselves into the great Cosmic Fire. We become aware that as a Soul in a Human form we are thinkers, creators and will inevitably fulfill our destiny.
In Sagittarius, we become our own disciples and we learn to discover two things: the power to make progress in the path we have chosen and the ability to create in the higher and spiritual sense. We learn to stop identifying ourselves with the personality, and start identifying ourselves with the spiritual soul. In the Old Testament, the 3rd compartment of the Tabernacle and Temple had to be pitch black. Only on the Day of Atonement the supernatural light – Shekinah - manifested there. Looking at this in Gnostic Astrology, this speaks of the Great Rift in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, a Black Hole. Sagittarius shows the way into the holiest of all, the black hole of infinite creation. Sagittarius shows us the way into the Holy of Holies. One of the most profound messages being given where the Centaur’s arrow is pointing into the Black Hole, the Holy of Holies, is our origins. Our DNA comes from many places in the universe, most of our DNA does not come from this planet. Before we came here, we were somewhere in the Pleiadian sector (7 stars) of Taurus and wil spiral through there again before reaching our original state. This is why throughout the Bible, there are so many references to this; the 7 stars in the hand of Jesus, the 7 candlesticks, 7 wells of Beersheba, the word Succoth in the Bible literally means Pleiades. On this New Moon in Sagittarius our purpose is to remember our Cosmic Origin and our Divinity. We are human and Divine and we hold the Holy Flame of creation within our hearts. Let us go on the adventures that our soul needs to remember our true essence.
